Hi friends! This featured post is brought to you in partnership with Marisota, as an introduction for my readers. The opinions and language are all mine!
Curvissa asked me to look through their website and do some window shopping for my readers with an eye on the upcoming Fall season. Curvissa’s sizes go from 14 to 32, which is UK sizing so check the measurement chart.
I love this Patterned Dress! I like the bold print, the colors, and that it has a slim stripe down the middle which tones down the pattern a little bit. You all know how I feel about “toning it down” but sometimes you gotta go to work and look professional. This is ideal business casual for me–bold but not over the top, wearable with leggings and allows for comfortable movement, easy to turn into a short dress over fishnets for after work.
The Plaid Design Shift Dress is so adorable. It comes in brown or teal. I like the way they style it on the website, with a long sleeve shirt underneath and leggings and boots. But I think it would also be super cute on its own. I love a retro style design in 100% cotton–way more comfortable than this 70s polyester dress would be if it were actually vintage. I also like the visual effect of the plaid being turned 90 degrees through the center of the dress which gives the body more of an hourglass effect.
The Leaf Print Tea Dress is a great dress for an early Fall night or maybe a good wedding guest dress. Not highly cleavagey, and such a pretty print. Since it’s 95% cotton and the rest is elastane I’m going to take the leap that this will cling in the right way to the boobs.
In the lingerie section they carry my favorite type of chub rub solution, in the form of their Lascana Body Shaping Briefs.
I could not explore the lingerie section and not highlight the Petite Fleur Chain Briefs. Seriously hot. I look forward to one of my burlesque gal pals sporting these rhinestone chained lovelies on stage sometime soon.
Fatkini alert! It’s so rare to find a plus size bikini top with underwire so it is totally noteworthy. In adorable checks, the Underwired Checked Tankini is not a tankini at all.
I love these bad ass Lace-Up Ankle Boots. The tread looks good enough for snow. I know we’re not really thinking about snow yet, but it is a year-round duty to create a fashion arsenal!
Speaking of bad ass, if you want to wear this gorgeous Black Pencil Skirt and have some hanky panky I feel that is entirely appropriate. Such a killer staple for the Fall wardrobe.
Happy shopping at Curvissa!!
