Hi friends! This featured post is brought to you in partnership with JD Williams, as an introduction for my International readers. The opinions and language are all mine!
Winter is settling in for her 3-5 month visit to those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, and if you’re a snow climate gal like me you want to keep your outerwear as fresh and fly as possible. It’s a small consolation for having to wear the same thing on the outside every single day.
I did a round up of plus size Ladies coats and outerwear for femme of center multi-gendered individuals in this post*, including some bonus boots from the JD Williams collection.
Their sizes go from 8 to 32 UK (which is about 10-30 US) and the boots come in multiple widths and calf widths. They also sell tons of accessories, dresses, lingerie and footwear for fashion not for function.

Detachable Faux Fur Collar Coat. This coat is gorgeous! I am really into the red tweed version of this coat, though it comes in two colors. The tweed body has a distinct vintage style and the faux fur collar looks very cozy. Since it’s detachable folks like me can substitute the faux fur with any number of vintage real fur collars if that’s your thing or just layer layer layer up with scarves. £88

Joe Browns Finishing Coat which is on sale for £49. It is really unusual and the photo from far away seems like a mess but when you do the zoomy on the website it’s actually quite interesting. I love a wacky coat print, especially in the dog days of winter. I believe in accessorizing loudly with prints. I would love to see this paired with polka dots.

Single Breasted Military Coat for £57.40. A lovely deep purple shade and gold buttons makes it so regal and Femme. I like it without a scarf. Subtle accessories would be beautiful (black scarf-hat-gloves), but you could easily do some poppin’ color blocking with a bright red scarf and hot pink gloves. Or play off the solid purple with a bright print on your accessories. I see so much possibility in this coat!

Check Pac a Mac Jacket is great for milder winter climates where your primary worry is rain and staying dry. It has its own stuff sac and seems like the perfect throw on rain jacket. And it’s gingham, which is one of my favorite prints. It seems cute and practical, a great combination. £27 to £37

Viva La Diva Wellingtons are £30 and super cute shiny snow boots.

Joe Browns Biker Boots are £80 and have grippy rubber bottoms which make them bad ass secret snow boots. I suggest before you tromp out in the wet you weather treat them (the description is silent as to whether they are weather proof) since they’re leather. They come in multiple calf widths and are just lusty. I love biker boots.
*I’ll be back in another entry to address butch/masculine presenting winter wear.
